In DiligenceVault, we highly encourage collaboration between team members and more so across departments in your organization.
- To invite a team member, log in to the platform.
- The option to add new team members is only available to admin users.
There are two ways to add team members to the platform for easy collaboration:
Quick Add
- Once you are logged in, click the Add Teammate button next to your name at the top right corner of the platform:
- A pop-up window will appear where you can key in your new team member’s credentials:
Key Person: This contact will be the key employee of the firm (e.g. CEO, CTO, COO, etc.) You can mark all C-level managers as a key person.
Visible Contact: This contact would be visible to the investors once you assign it to an entity. To assign this contact to an entity navigate to "Manage" > "Firm" or "Product" > "Associated Contacts" and assign an internal contact by clicking on the plus sign.
Enable Firmwide Access: This person will have firmwide access. Check this box to assign your new team member a role.
Access levels: Assign one of the access level from below
Admin: Admin is the role with the highest level of access to your firm including firm settings. This type of user can create, delete, and modify entities. We recommend that you share the management of your account with other people you trust by granting them administrator privileges.
Owner: All entity access excluding firm settings. This user can access all entities, create/modify and delete them but they do not have access to firm settings.
Viewer: This type of user can only view all the entities but cannot make any changes to them. They do not have access to firm settings.
