DiligenceVault operates on an Unlimited User licensing model, which means our clients are able to add as many user accounts as they would like, in order to easily collaborate across the entire organization in responding to Due Diligence requests.
Note: Only Admin level users are able to invite other users to join the account. The Add User icon will not be visible to all other user roles.
There are currently two places to add a user within the platform:
Quick Add (Top Right Corner Menu)
Step 1: Once you are logged in, click the Add Teammate button next to your name at the top right.
Step 2: A pop-up window will appear and you will be prompted to input the new user's First Name, Last Name and Email address as well as select the necessary checkbox/option for the new user.
- Key Person - If selected, this contact will be the key personnel of the firm i.e. CEO, CTO, COO. We recommend marking all C-Suite level individuals as Key Persons.

Visible Contact - If selected, this contact would be visible to the investors once you assign them to an entity.
- To assign this contact to an entity, head over to Monitor > Firm/Product > Associated contacts > Assign Internal Contact.
- Enable Firmwide Access - If selected, this contact will be granted firmwide access depending on the Role that you eventually assign them with. By selecting this option, you will be prompted to assign a Role to them.

Role Types (Only editable if Enable Firmwide Access is selected)
- Viewer: This user can only view all the entities but cannot make any changes to them. They do not have access to firm settings.
- Owner: All entity access excluding firm settings. This user can access all entities, create/modify and delete them but they do not have access to firm settings.
- Admin: Admin is the role with the highest level of access to your firm including firm settings. This type of user can create, delete, and modify entities. We recommend that you share the management of your account with other people you trust by granting them administrator privileges.
You may refer to the Viewer: This type of user can only view all the entities but cannot make any changes to them. They do not have access to firm settings.

Step 3: Once you have configured the roles and permissioning, click on the Invite User button to save.
- The “Add User” icon in the upper right corner, beside the user name and account name
- By clicking on your name in the upper right corner, and select Users & Team > Users > Select the + icon in the upper right corner.

A pop-up window will appear where you can fill the user window.
First Name: Enter the first name of the user
Last Name: Enter the last name of the user
Key Person: This contact will be the key employee of the firm like CEO, CTO, COO, etc. You can mark all C-level managers as a key person.
Visible Contact: This contact would be visible to the investors once you assign it to an entity. To assign this contact to an entity navigate to Monitor > Firm/Product > Associated contacts > Assign Internal Contact
Enable Firmwide Access: This person will have firmwide access.
Role: Assign one of the roles from below

Then select one of the following:
Invite User: Click to invite the user to the DV platform.
Invite and add another: This will invite the user to the DV platform and bring you back to the same page to add another user.
Cancel: Click Cancel if you wish not to create a user.
