DiligenceVault supports setting up your own custom scoring using either Absolute values or Score Bands. This allows you to mimic whatever scoring criteria you currently use today. We also have heatmap displays for your custom ratings. To set it up, head over to Firm Settings > Rating/Score Map > Rating/Score Scales.
On the Rating/Score Scales page, click on "+Add New" button to create a new scale. These are our recommendation on the type of Scales and when to use them:
- ScoreBand - if the responses are quantitative (eg. responses that are yes/no, drop-down option)
- Absolute - where there is a lot of qualitative data to rate (eg. long paragraphs, one-liner responses)
The Scale Colors and Scale Names are completely customizable.
On the bottom right of the new scale, you may choose to add or remove rating options with the "+"/"-" buttons (screenshot above). Once you have finished configuring your scale, you may "Save" your option.
Here is a video with additional details on ratings/scores in DiligenceVault.
Once you have set up your scoring scale(s), you may want to also set up the definitition under the Rating/Score Definition page. To get you started, you may refer to our Simple Sums and Rating and Scoring article.
