The Recommendation Tracker is a feature that allows you to track recommendations, suggestions, or issues raised with the responder. There are 3 areas where you can add details to the recommendation tracker: on a question level, a project level, and an entity level.
At the question level:
- In a project, go to a question and click on the Recommendation widget (looks like a palm) on the right of the question
- A pop-up window with multiple fields will appear:
- Subject - give your recommendation/suggestion/issue a subject/title
- Description - elaborate on your subject to give more details
- Mark as external - if you mark this entry as external, responders will be notified (note: this box can be disabled by an Admin in the Firm Settings)
- Priority - set the priority for this recommendation/suggestion/issue (note: the labels and colours can be changed by an Admin in the Firm Settings)
- Resolution Date - date by which actions should be completed or undertaken
- Reported By - user who is submitting this entry or the person one is submitting the entry on behalf of
- Assign To - assign it to a colleague if this is an internal tracker or assign it to an Admin user on the responder side if this entry is marked as external
- Add Tags - you may add tags for better organization of recommendations/suggestions/issues
- After adding the entry, you may adjust the status ("Open"; "In Progress"; "Resolved"), edit or delete the entry, and add additional comments
At the project level:
- Click on Tracker Activities tab at the top of the project
- Under the Tracker Activities tab, you may see all question-level entries related to this project, and add more entries on a project level (ie. recommendation/suggestions/issues not related to individual questions in the project) by clicking on the "+" sign
At the entity level (eg. Firm/Product/Strategy):
- Navigate to "Manage" > "Firm" (or "Products" / "Strategies")
- Select and click into your selected entity
- At the top, click on Recommendations tab
- You may add new recommendations/suggestions/issues on an entity level, and view all entries related to this entity that have been added on a project or question level in this page

Last but not least, to view all entries across all questions, projects, and entities, you may view the Recommendation Tracker by navigating to "Dash" > "Activity Dash" and scrolling down the page:
You can click on "Open Diligence Items" to view the individual item in the side panel.
Clicking on the associated name will redirect you to the actual item in the project
You can also scroll to the right to see more fields and you can rearrange the columns by dragging and dropping.
Admin Recommendation Tracker Settings:
Admin users have further options to customize the Recommendation Tracker under Firm Settings:
- Navigate to "Firm Settings" by clicking on your name on the top right corner of the platform
- Under Firm Settings, navigate to "Preferences" > "Firm Preferences"
- On the right, you may customize the name of the tracker, labels and colours of priorities, and check/uncheck the box for external entries
Note: If you uncheck the box to disallow creation of external recommendation, the Recommendation Tracker will only be used for internal tracking purposes and responders will not get notified of your entries
