In the Summary page of your project, there is a section called Quick View. The Quick View gives users the flexibility and convenience to pin key information in regards to a project (i.e. AUM, headcount, main contact etc.) by inputting information in the custom fields.
The custom fields are user-friendly and dynamic. You can add and manage custom fields to be shown in the Quick View section.
Where is the Quick View?
Head to the Project Summary page and you will see the Quick View section.
Add Custom Fields
In order to start adding or managing your custom fields, click on the Pencil Icon on the right side of the Quick View section.
If there were no custom fields previously added, the below will be displayed. Follow the instructions by clicking on Click Here which will lead you to the Firm Settings page.
You can also directly add and manage your custom fields straight from the Firm Settings page, look under Manage Tags and Custom Fields > Project.
Add your new Custom Fields in the Project: Custom Fields section by clicking on the Plus Icon on the right side.
Fill out the Field Name and select the Type of Custom Field. Add your description in the Description box and/or select applicable checkbox options before Save or Save & Add another.
There are 8 types of custom fields to choose from:
- Text - one line text response
- Paragraph - multiline text response
- Integer - integer response
- Numeric - numeric response
- Dropdown - add dropdown responses (select multiple options if required)
- Link
- Check Box - add checkbox responses (select multiple options if required)
- Dynamic - auto-populate information from DiligenceVault platform
After adding your Custom Fields in your firm settings, head to the Project - Quick View and select the Pencil Icon on the right side to add response to the Custom Fields. All the Custom Fields added to the Firm Settings will appear. Those with asterisk are mandatory custom fields. Input your information before selecting Save.
Upon selecting Save, the Quick View will be updated accordingly with the number count of custom fields filled.
Tip: Responses highlighted in blue and underlined are clickable which leads to the required information.
Edit & Remove Custom Fields
To edit and remove existing Custom Fields Input in a Project, after selecting the Pencil Icon on the right side of the Quick View section, you can select the Bin and/or the X icon to remove the input. Make your amendments before selecting Save. Your amendments will be reflected in the Quick View section.
To edit existing Custom Fields for all projects, head to the Firm Settings > Manage Tags and Custom Fields > Project, select the Pencil Icon and make your changes before selecting Update or Update & Add another.
To remove existing Custom Fields for all projects, select the X Icon and confirm removal by selecting Yes.
