Once a project has been submitted to the requestor, responders can no longer edit existing responses or add additional documents to the project. To make any updates, responders must restart the project or request a restart from the project's Summary page.
The ability to restart depends on whether the requestor has viewed the submitted responses:
- If the requestor has not yet viewed your responses, you can restart the project directly.
- If the requestor has already viewed your responses, you must click on Request a restart from the project's Summary page. Only the requestor (investor) can approve and restart the project in this scenario.
Note: Restarting a project does not remove or impact any previously submitted responses or documents. It only changes the project status from Completed to Started and re-enables editing access for the responder.
How to Restart or Request a Restart
- Navigate to Diligence > Projects > In-progress.
- Select the relevant project and open it.
- Navigate to the Summary tab.
- Select Restart or Request a Restart based on the available option.
What happens after requesting a restart?
When a responder requests a restart, the project status changes to Pending Restart while awaiting action from the requestor. Once approved, the project will be reopened, and the status will appear as Started, and the responder can edit responses or add additional documents.
