There are two ways to follow up with a requestor, one on a question level and one on a project level:
Question level follow up:
Once you have submitted the project, you can send a message to the requestor about a particular question
- Navigate to Diligence > Projects > In-Progress tab. The Follow Up sub-status icon will appear next to any projects with a follow up associated with it. You can identify projects with associated follow ups by the Follow Up sub-status.
- You can quickly navigate to any sent or received Follow Up items by selecting the Received Follow Ups in the upper right. This will filter the projects to show only those with open follow up items. The Awaiting Follow Up Response will show follow up items that have been sent to the Requestor, and are awaiting their response.
- Select a project row
- In the Questionnaire tab, navigate to the Open Follow-ups filter on the top of the questionnaire where you can select between All, Awaiting Follow Up Response, and Received Follow Ups
- Select the "Follow up" in the upper right of the question. From this section, you can either respond to the requestor or Resolve and Close the item:
- You can also optionally select the 3 dots above the item which provides the options to Add Recommendations, Resolve, or Reply in Thread.
- If the requestor has requested a revision to a response, that response will be unlocked for editing
- Once the response has been revised, you will need to hit the orange checkmark/submit button in the upper right of the question in order to submit the revised response back to the requestor.
Project level follow-up
- You can also follow up / ask a question on a full questionnaire level by navigating to Summary tab. Using the Follow up with Requestor field, you can correspond directly with the user(s) from the requestor who initiated the request.
