This document attachment functionality can be used when users need to add or associate files with an ongoing request or project in DiligenceVault.
To attach a document to the information request:
- Navigate to "Diligence" > "Projects" > "In-progress"
- Select a project row
- Navigate to "Documents" tab with in the project
- Click “+Add” and you will have the option to add an existing document or upload a new document
- You can associate a pre-uploaded document(s) by clicking on "Add Existing"
6. Or you can upload new document(s) to the platform by clicking on "Upload Document"
You can upload the following file types with up to 60MB each on the DiligenceVault platform.
- Document (doc, docx, pdf)
- Excel (xls, xlsx)
- Presentation (ppt, pptx, pps, ppsx, key)
- Images (png, jpeg, jpg)
Alternatively, you can upload documents on the platform at the firm/ product level and use them later on (only for premium users).
Please note: Responders cannot attach documents after submitting the project to the requestors. Once the project status is Completed, Attaching documents to the project is no longer allowed.
